Quality Control.
When Coastal Transmission Does Work On Your Transmission There Is No Guessing About Quality.
A Coastal Transmission technician performs a personal quality check of various other components to make sure all is in proper working order. Then and only then, is your transmission replaced back into your vehicle. Assuring that the most, that can be done, has been done, to ensure a quality transmission rebuild.
At Coastal Transmission get it in gear is not just a saying, but an everyday, in every way process to make sure your transmission repair is done right the first time.
We are the only Transmission Repair Shops in the states of South Carolina and Georgia to put your rebuilt transmission through all these test. Why? We guarantee your transmission in all fifty states.
THOROUGH CLEANING
Every transmission is completely disassembled then thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All parts are inspected for contaminants that result in premature wear to gears, bearings, shafts and other precision components. Transmission cleaning includes individual component hand washing. Parts are carefully inspected and bushings are replaced to insure proper clearance.
NEW PARTS
Coastal Transmission receives a standard set of new parts. Coastal Transmission technicians automatically install new friction clutch plates, sprags, bearings, races, bushings, washers, filter or screen assembly, gaskets and seals. Our standard parts replacement assures smooth, consistent performance and long unit life. Coastal Transmission "transmissions" are assembled by trained technicians who specialize in automatic transmissions. When available Coastal Transmission always uses original equipment.
ROAD TESTING
Before your vehicle is returned to you, our technicians and our shop manager road test your vehicle to insure that it is functioning properly and performing correctly. They make sure your safety is never compromised and you're back on the road where you belong.
